If any series tries to sell me bad relationship advice, it doesn't matter if he's not a real person, it doesn't matter if it's a silly series, I will call it out.

Bro they are not trying to sell you anything 😭 that's what we're all trying to say, you've read into this so much that you've created something you hate about the series that doesn't even exist. Nobody provided relationship advice whatsoever throughout the series. Characters' funny attempts at romantic actions are poked fun at throughout the series purposely to make it clear that it's just for comedy and not something to take seriously or actually attempt in real life. It seems that went completely over your head I fear ☹️

Ultimately, my main point is that you're refusing to see the abstractness of these situations and convinced that every little thing has to have some deep, propagandistic, meaning. Simply because Saiki jumps out of a window to hide from Teruhashi does not mean the mangaka is reccomending you jump out of a window to hide from other people. They purposely choose unrealistic yet comedic situations to show their satirical opinion on the situation. The mangaka obviously isn't promoting everything that happens in the series. THAT is why things are made fun of.

I think I'd like to add that not once is SaiTeru supported throughout the series at all. Even though Teruhashi has character development she sees herself above others still and so Saiki doesn't like her and continues to avoid her. I think the manga knows.

I never said that the mangaka is recommending that you jump out of a window, and I don't believe that it is either. What I said is that the mangaka uses these moments with the tsundere trope to create this idea that you can ignore Saiki's emotions, and you can see this with the fan theories of Saiki.

The mangaka obviously isn't promoting everything that happens in the series.

I think that you should consider how the audience is reasonably going to react to it. In that way, I think that the author is irresponsible. The target for the manga is teenagers. You can say that the author has a set message, but what are fans actually going to learn from it?

Every thing that happens in the series should be deeply analysed to discover what it's underlying message. I never said that you should take anything at face value.

Even though I partly agree with you, I think that there are probably cultural things in Japanese that you are not considering. I think that the author is more of a wanker than you think he is.

I know about Japanese Culture and standard, having live there for two years. I don't think you are thinking of this right. 😓

The reason why I believe what I said, is because of the theory that work-at-weekend on Reddit made about the author liking Saiki x Teruhashi. I think that they don't realise it themselves, but they made a good argument for why the author is delusional.

If it's true the author doesn't actually want Saiki x Teruhashi, I would hate him a lot less than I do know.

@OliverEatingDirt I do think that the author has perverted intentions with the series. Saiki x Teruhashi is not supposed to be an actual relationship, it's just supposed to be a kink where you're supposed to ignore everything negative that Saiki says. I don't trust his intentions at all.

I think that any culture can do this, if he was English then I would criticise him in the same way. Japanese authors don't have some monopoly on bad relationship ideas, and I'm not suggesting that you treat him unfairly because he's Japanese. I'm just looking at the analyses made by other people who said that certain ways that he made the manga were apparently part of Japanese culture.

So that's not what I said. I specifically said, "I think that there are probably cultural things in Japanese that you are not considering." because Japanese people communicate slightly differently in Japanese than in English. This is not a controversial statement.

Everytime I see you, you're only talking about how Saiki tried to hang out of a window and complained that Saiteru had a bad relationship.
