Is anyone else so annoyed and done with all the “saiki is trans and aroace” stuff? Because I certainly am.

Saiki isn’t trans because to be trans you need to experience Gender Dysphoria, have genuine discomfort with your body and sex. Saiki literally never has any of this, but people label him as trans because he can switch from male to female and vise versa. THATS LITERALLY ONE OF HIS POWERS?? How does that make him trans?? He never expressed any discomfort with his sex over the whole series, but because he was apparently born a female and used his powers to be male he is trans?

And that brings us to our next point, Saiki isn’t aroace or whatever. Just like the trans one, this can be said very easily. Saiki isn’t aroace because he sees people as what they are- muscle and bones. He literally doesn’t see people on the outside, he sees their insides and organs. Because of this, he literally states, “JUST HOW WOULD I DEVELOP FEELINGS FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?” It isn’t that he CANT feel attraction or feelings towards people, just that he can’t develop feelings for people’s muscles and organs. If he didn’t have that power, he would see people as everyone else did, and most likely would develop crushes and attractions.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk. I don’t want to read a single comment saying “just let us have this!! There isn’t any aroace or trans representation in here blah blah blah” because I have seen people say that, and yall don’t make a valid argument. Stop labeling characters just because of their slight quirks. Happy Christmas everyone.

I mean Saiki Kusuo must think to himself as Kusuo, and Saiki Kuusuke would call him Kusuo right? Not Saiki, because that's also Kuusuke's surname.

Same goes for the Teruhashi's brothers, and I don't think Saiki Kusuo wouldn't be calling Makoto by his given name, right? They're no where close to close, nor is Saiki inpolite on the outside (at least to everyone but his brother).

And so isn't makotoxkuusuke technically saiteru right?

What's the point of this post? I'm not sure, but lately I've been reading fics on pixiv (with a tranlator of course), and when I switch back, I just can't stand it. Ao3 seems to be okay enough, sometimes, but I just can't touch wattpad now.

Personally I don't like her that much, yeah she's a funny addition. But I was disappointed that all of this time in the show I've seen no character development from her. She seems like a really self centered person that seeks validation 99% of the time. sorry :(

Could it be that Nendo also has some psychic powers? And is the reason why Saiki cannot sense/read him? I got to thinking about this when Miko noticed his bright aura.

I'm, most probably, just reading too much into this. But how cool would it be if it turns out that way? He could be just as powerful as Saiki. And they're cancelling each other out. Meaning, just as Saiki can't sense Nendo, Nendo also can't sense Saiki. And just as Saiki tries hard to look ordinary, Nendo also acts dumb so people won't be too interested in him.

Anyway, just my thoughts.
