Precognition is the fourth Weekly Shōnen Jump one-shot of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan) manga series published on the 25th of July 2011.

Summary

The chapter starts off with Kusuo walking home while being accompanied by Riki who is excited for his ‘date’. And a flashback 31 minutes ago shows how Kusuo got a headache and that means that a precognition will appear. Then as he goes home, Kusuo had a precognition that a old lady was being followed and guessed it was just another old man. However, when the old man was about to run towards the old lady Riki appears and hits the old man. The police came and they learned that the old guy mistaken the old woman as his wife. Suddenly, Kusuo had a headache and a Death-Warning about Riki dying caught his attention. Kusuo then decides to accompany Riki who talks about having with a date with a girl named Yumi which caught his attention as it would be impossible but it was actually a prank as she saw the girl, Yumi, talking with her friends about how she’s going to reject Riki. After the vision Riki's phone rings to which he discovers it’s from Yumi who rudely explains that it was only because she lost a bet that she agreed to go out with him and continues to make fun of him. Luckily before that could happen Kusuo uses Apport to replaced Yumi’s phone with Riki's eyeball bowling ball. Nendou then receives a text from ‘Yumi’ that she won’t be able to make it to the date because of ‘exams’ and such. The text is revealed to be from Kusuo who got her phone. Seeing how down Riki was, Kusuo decides to ‘comfort’ him with Riki showing him the text from ‘Yumi’. The scene changes with Kusuo accompanying Riki to his home where he discovers the vision of Riki's shrine actually turns out to be a shrine for his dad.
