Short Summary[]

The Teruhashi Fan Club abducts and puts Kusuo on trial for getting too close to Kokomi.

Long Summary[]

Kusuo is walking and mentions how there is a group of individuals following him around. One of them closeby took a picture of him with a camera. Farther away there is another looking at him through binoculars. Kusuo sighs, and states that his fear came true since it appears that the group is finally making their move.

A group is talking about Kusuo, explaining that he seems like a quiet and inconspicuous student but far from it. Others question if he really is dangerous and that he is too plain. It is explained that there are reports that say otherwise and this has all become a big situation that he, the leader, failed to oversee. The members are surprised Kusuo was able to do it and they should have taken care of him sooner. The leader continues to say they can still protect the person from Kusuo since they are the Teruhashi Fan Club. The leader signals a member to state one of their articles, number 3. He recites it as they will eliminate any man that approaches Kokomi. The leader states he is correct, that article also includes plain and unremarkable men and thus they will eliminate Kusuo Saiki. Kusuo, having heard all of this, sees they have noticed him and wishes it was an evil organization after his psychic powers vs them.

Kokomi is walking in the halls of PK Academy and everyone gawks at her. Once she leaves, they talk about how beautiful she is. One person is so love struck and wonders if he should just confess to her. Another person warns him that he should not since he would be eliminated. He questions it and the other explains that he would be eliminated by the Teruhashi Fan Club, an organization runned by students, teachers, students outside their school and famous politicians. The guy is surprised, the other person says they need to become a member to be able to talk to her and show them their card. He is again surprised this time at his card number. The other guy explains that with this they can talk to her about the weather, and the guy is surprised that is the only thing that members can do. Kusuo hears this and believes the organization is fearsome. Kokomi sees Kusuo, goes up to him, tells him good morning and what nice weather they are having. The guy questions if Kusuo is a member too. The other guy responds, annoyed, that he is not but Kokomi spoke to him first and that he has not broken any articles. He further explains that it is frustrating and he wishes that Kusuo rots. Kusuo thinks about how they are welcomed to trade places with him. Kokomi tells him that she will see him later, leaves and thinks how overjoyed she is to start the conversation for him. Kusuo sighs. He believes he has provoked the club too far this time, has no point to get away, so he will let them catch him without a fight. Club members then basically kidnap him, blindfold him and cover his mouth, and take him to their club room.

A while later, a member removes the cloth that was blindfolding Kusuo’s eyes. He has been tied up and bound to a chair. They tell him that they have been waiting for him. Kusuo believes they are crude and that they should not blindfold him otherwise they will have no idea what to do if they end up breaking. They rhetorically ask him, assuming he is already confused, if he knows who they are and why he is here. Kusuo explains that he is not confused. They explain to him anyways that they are the Teruhashi Fan Club and they have put on him trial for getting too close to Kokomi. Kusuo thinks they went a little too far and wonder if they are the Dark Reunion Shun has been talking about.

Member Hotei, leader of special forces, says they do not need a trial and should just purge Kusuo already. Another member, Haruno, leader of the intel unit, explains that they should wait and get information first. Kusuo wonders with what intention did the guy had for wearing a Happi. Member Kihachi, leader of the defense unit, then wonders if he could eat Kusuo. Kusuo wonders who he is and how the organization runned by several cliches. Someone tells everyone to settle down and that they should all have a talk. He tells Kusuo that they will talk one on one and reveals himself to be Sawakita, the 8th executive leader. Kusuo is surprised that a fellow classmate is one involved in this. Sawakita rhetorically asks him again if he knows why he is here and that it is due to Kokomi. Kusuo says with the attire all of them have, it would be surprising if it was another else. Sawakita explains to Kusuo that he has gotten too close to Kokomi and they all hate that. Kusuo believes their anger is not reasonable but it works.

Sawakita explains Kokomi is very influential to them and tells a member to show him something. The member, “Nishi,” asks Kusuo what happened to his covered hand. He wonders if he has the same thing going on with Shun. Nishi explains that in the entrance ceremony he ended up sitting next to Kokomi, she shook his hand and he decided to never wash his hand again. He sealed his hand to get any moisture, even from normal things such as showering. Kusuo is certain that hand must reek horribly. Nishi then smells his covered hand, saying he will never taint it and it still smells like her. Kusuo tells him that it is dirty and it has the smell of it being unwashed. Sawakita then tells another member to show him another thing. A member removes his shirt, turns around, shows off a Kokomi tattoo and asks what is on his back. Kusuo tells him that he will not be able to go to a swimming pool with that. The member states that his feelings for Kokomi were so strong that it manifested in him. Kusuo tells him to stop lying. Sawakita then shares his proof of his love for her and shares his email address on his phone. He says he changed to “kokomi-love.forever” and Kusuo says that is lame and wonders why he is the leader.

They then decide to start Kusuo’s trial. Sawakita reads a report in which the other day Kokomi attended his birthday party. The members have an uproar, angry that she celebrated his birthday, he deserves death and they should purge him. Sawakita says that is not all and says that Kokomi treated him to her homemade cake. They are again in uproar. Kusuo wonders who told them and he can not tell which possibility it was. Sawakita then reads another report where he asks Kusuo if the two of them went on a date to the neighboring town. Once again there is uproar and Kusuo thinks about how annoying they have gotten. He thinks about how it was not a date and guesses he should tell them this. Sawakita tells him he should not be playing dumb and shows him the report, which shows a picture of him and Kokomi holding hands going into the photo booth. Kusuo wonders why it looks like a tabloid article. The other members are sure it was a date and they definitely need to purge him. Kusuo tells them to shut up and is already fine of the prospect of being purged. He can use it as an advantage against her and remind her of the danger of them to get any closer.

Sawakita reminds the others that the trial is not over and that there are more reports. Kusuo is surprised that it is not enough and wonders why they do not just get over with purging him. Sawakita asks Kusuo to explain a report and shares an image of him and Kokomi alone on the Okinawa trip. The other members yell at him and Kusuo is surprised that they caught that in film too. The members start to grab him, ready to purge him. Kusuo believes the purging has begun and then panics when Nishi goes to grab him with his unwashed hand. Sawakita tells them to wait and shows them another report. It is Kusuo walking next to Kokomi, with him holding Yuuta and the report alleges that Kokomi might be a young mother. The other members become speechless, Kusuo tells them that they should not be, and they then all start to yell at this prospect. Kusuo tells them this is not a possibility. Sawakita tells Kusuo to explain himself, if the kid is their child. Kusuo responds that Yuuta is not their kid.

Nishi says they do not need to listen to Kusuo and they should purge him. He goes to use his unwashed hand on him but Kusuo is then protected by Sawakita. Nishi is in shock and asks him why he did it. Sawakita tells him to recite the first article. Nishi replies that it is to protect Kokomi’s happiness and he quickly realizes what is going on. Sawakita makes them think if Kusuo is purged then what will happen to her and their child. He then further explains that Kusuo is too important to her, especially for her happiness. They all yell at how correct he is and they should not touch him. Kusuo is confused at this revelation. Sawakita informs Kusuo that they will still continue on with the fan club despite the facts, Kusuo does not care if they do. The club members decide to leave the room and tell Kusuo to not make Kokomi upset and bid him farewell. Kusuo, still tied up, is confused and urges them to purge him.

Continuity[]

  • The events that were mentioned:
    • The birthday party for Kusuo occurred in Chapter 99; he was technically given a homemade cake by Kokomi.
    • The “date” in the neighboring town occurred in Chapters 76-77. The image is when Kusuo and, unknowingly, Kokomi were running away from Makoto’s staff and were entering the photo booth.
    • The image of Kusuo and Kokomi alone together in Okinawa is from Chapter 58. In the report it mentions that Kusuo disappeared with Kokomi for two hours, however he was asleep during that time period. The report does not acknowledge Kusuo legitimately disappearing after midnight.
    • The other image of Kokomi and Kusuo carrying Yuuta is from Chapter 87. It is likely that in that small span of time from when they left Yuuta’s home to Kusuo's, a member took the photo.
