Short Summary

Long Summary

Metori has not come out of his room, deeply annoyed from the previous events. He thinks he can not buy off everyone and plans to just go back to his old school, however his father comes into his room saying he will not allow him to run from his mistakes.

Riki tell the guys it's been awhile since Metori has come into class. Aren is annoyed and Shun made it sound like he was the one who attacked Metori that night, which, of course, Metori overheard. Aren is surprised he is back an tells him that no one is on his side. Metori, however, ask Takahashi for something to drink, which he obeyed. Aren went up to Takahashi to punch him and Kusuo states he will try to make sure that he will not get involved with Metori any further.

Riki goes up to Kusuo to walk home together after school with Shun and asks them if they should get ramen. Metori is surprised no one has gone up to him after Takahashi to buy them off, however his train of thought is interrupted by Riki who invited him to get ramen with them too. Shun, not wanting to be near Metori, decides to leave. Metori takes Riki to a better place to eat to get him on his side. Metori thinks he can make Riki as his underling with the food and giving him money, however Riki refused all advances. Kusuo states that he got worked up over nothing and puts his tab on Metori. Riki tells Metori he does not anything about underlings but he is willing to be his friend and can not be partners seeing as he has one. Metori misunderstands the situation and tells him to be only his underling, Riki refuses.

Later on, Metori and Riki start walking near a bridge, with Riki stating how good the food was. Riki feels bad that Metori paid for his meal and tells him they should go to another place where he will treat him. Metori thinks Riki does not want to owe him anything and offers him 150 million to become his underling. He hopes Riki would say say yes, seeing as his dad told him there is nothing money can not buy, Kusuo retorting that his dad is the worst. Riki says no, whatever amount he tries to give him, he will not be his underling. Riki continues by telling him if he wants to buy him off, he should bring enough for 100 ramens, with Metori quickly stating it is 150 million he could buy that and whatever he wants, Riki surprised with finding that out. Metori asks him again if he will he be his underling and Riki says sure. He get his briefcase and throw all the money out, surprising Metori.

Riki then throws the briefcase, Metori finding out that Riki only did it to save a kid. Metori asks how does this benefit Riki to throw that money away, especially ince he doesn't know the concept of it. He realizes he did know but decided to throw it away anyways for a kid he does not know. Riki saves the child and Kusuo comes to give him a hand. Riki is surprised that Metori had something that could float, only for Kusuo to state that a metal suitcase would not be able to float and to support extra weight. Riki goes upset on having to be Metori's underling, Kusuo states that will not have to worry about that. Metori is walking alone, angry that his dad lied to him, there are things that can not be bought with money.
