Reita comes to beg Kusuo to use his powers to make Aiko go on a date with him. Kusuo is ready to erase him from the sake of Earth as he is just too hopeless.

Kineshi comes by and asks Kusuo if he is heading home. Kusuo reminds everyone who is he and that he is a complete opposite to Reita. Kusuo hopes Reita can be a little like Kineshi and recuits him to Kineshi's club.

Reita asks Kusuo why are they making him run, Kusuo says it is to purify his heart. Reita tells him to stop messing with him, he hates exercise. Kusuo tells him it was only for Reita, he did not want to join. Reita does not care, however reminded that Kusuo is powerful, he says it is fine but to listen to his request. Kusuo replies to leave it to him, Reita does not trusts him and is ready to leave.

The tennis club stops running and Reita is tired. Kineshi compliments Reita on his decent physical strength, Reita asks who would do these types of club activities but then sees Aiko in the tennis court. He is reminded that she is part of the girls' tennis club. Kineshi asks Reita what did he mean by what he said, Reita states he is now eager to be in the tennis club and head to the championships. Kineshi is glad, he only heard from others that he is horrible but sees he is a fired up guy. Reita goes to talk to Aiko, Kineshi tells him it is not time to talk but to practice. Reita asks Kineshi who is his opponent, he tells him to practice swinning due to he is a beginner. Reita complains, Kusuo tells Kineshi to let him play and that he will be Reita's opponent.

Reita chooses to practice swing, Kineshi is surprised yet again that he is being serious, but then realizes Reita is using the air pressure to pull up the girl's skirts. Reita got tired and tried a direct approach, Kineshi asked him what is he doing lying down. Kineshi tells him he knows Reita is not taking it seriously and if he does not feel like doing the club he should go home. Reita does not want to be in the club, however if he leaves he knows Kusuo will not help him with Aiko, so he says he is serious. Reita says he can practice at home, he wants to hit some tennis balls in the court which Kineshi allows. Reita realizes Aiko is seeing him and misses hitting the ball, injuring himself.

Reita summons a professional tennis player ghost to use his body. Kusuo uses astral projection and tells him to play as himself. Reita tells Kineshi that Kusuo is sleeping and he yells at him to wake up, annoying him. Kineshi sends another ball to him, this time the ball hitting him in a not so pleasant spot. Kusuo is the reason this time for him not hitting the ball. Reita tells him to stop, he can do the rest with his powers, and thinks Kusuo is not helping at all. Reita asks Kineshi to throw another ball, only for him to hit the next ones flawlessly. All the guys are impressed by his skills however Reita sees that Aiko is no longer seeing him. Reita does not understand, she was just seeing him not too long ago.

Aiko congratulates Reita and hopes the best for him. Kusuo then comes and asks him if he wants to know why she does not like him. Reita asks him what happened. Kusuo tells him he did not have to ask him for help, Aiko already liked Reita. Reita is even more confused. Kusuo tells him she likes hopeless guys, however he blew it. Reita yells at him, a final time, as to why did he not say something.
