Summary

Kusuo does a reminder of what happened in the last chapter, he changed the future for two people who were supposed to meet, who happened to be his parents and ran into Riki's father. He needs to hurry to make them meet, as Kurumi is only in town for a class trip and drags Riki out of the ramen shop they are in.

Kusuo finds Kuniharu in a cafe, explaining he brought Riki to recreate the situation in which how his parents met. He believes Riki has the same intelligence as his son, Riki, only for Riki Sr. to ask Kusuo where is he from. Kusuo is surprised, thinking Riki found out he is from the future, however Riki continues his questioning by asking him if Kusuo is a foreigner seeing as his hair is pink. Kusuo realizes this is during a time before his mind control so he will stand out. He chooses to get a hat from a nearby shop, only for the salesman to stop and question him as to why he used a "counterfeit" 1,000 Yen bill. Kusuo panics, realizing that they have yet to redesign the bill. He tells Riki the bill is from a country in the south.

Kusuo lures Kurumi to the area where he, Riki and Kuniharu are with his telepathy. Riki gets excited to see the girl from before, Kusuo encourages him and tells him it is up to him on how he fails. Riki thanks Kusuo for helping him by using Riki's catchphrase, Kusuo saying genetics are scary. Kusuo also comments that he and Riki were connected before they were born and it was gross. Kurumi and Riki are talking outside right in Kuniharu's view. Kuniharu is trying his best to ignore them by reading the menu and playing with lucky fortune dispensers. Kusuo realized Kuniharu was bending the truth, what could have happened was a complete accident. He tells himself he is an idiot into believing that his dad was friends with Kimutaku, he then hears his dad greet him. Kusuo has no idea who he is and starts panicking seeing as Kurumi might follow Riki. He knows how much Kurumi trust people and bad with pressure, at this rate Riki would be Kusuo in 20 years. Kusuo commenting he would rather have a future where the Earth blows up.

Kusuo begs Kuniharu to go help, he would help him with the accident. Kuniharu asks Kimutaku if he should go help that girl outside, Kusuo starts becoming relieved. Kimutaku tells Kuniharu to not help out, and Kusuo tells him he is not helping. Kusuo took over Kimutaku's body, grabs Kuniharu out of the cafe, and tosses him right at Riki. Kuniharu and Kurumi finally meet. Kusuo says it was a bit forced but at least he does not need to worry on being born.

Riki wakes up after being knocked out by Kuniharu and walks with Kusuo. Kusuo comments on how he will meet Midori. Riki tells him that they should go get ramen, only for Kusuo to start leaving. Riki tells him "see you later the, partner!" and Kusuo to briefly consider telling him about his upcoming accident 3 years in the future. Kusuo knows he can not change the past so simply and Riki might not remember even if he tells him.

Kusuo is in his room on top of the tree, starting to use restoration to get back to his time. Kusuo feels he is now back to his time. He opens his bedroom window and see mass destruction, now completely confused.
