Aren sighs, looking visually upset. Riki and Shun see this. Shun asks him what is wrong, Aren says to him it is nothing important and sorry for making them worried. The two leave only for Aren to sigh once again.
It is after school, Aren goes behind the school and meets a delinquent ready to fight him. Aren tells him if he wins to promise him to leave him alone, the guy agrees. The guy says he is honorable and have a fair fight. Aren punches the guy behind him that had a baseball bat, saying he is ready for the fair fight, punching the other guy too. Aren sighs once more, he can not believe he got into another fight. Several people have been sending him challenge letters ever since his delinquent side was exposed when Metori arrived. He thought he finally changed but he is still the same.
Kusuo is hiding, checking if he was right about Aren's worries. Aren is worried how long it will take to finish all the challenges, Kusuo says to ignore them. Aren then sees a "childish" envelope, curious as to what it is he opens it to find it is a love letter. Aren then senses Kusuo behind him and asks who is there. Kusuo comes out from his hiding spot, surprised that he even figured out that he was there.
Aren gave Kusuo the love letter and it does look like a standard love letter, with the letter being from a girl called Kumiko. During the time of reading, Aren changed from his uniform to formal attire. Aren says it would be rude to not go in formal attire, Kusuo says to not take it so seriously. Aren says he has no idea what to do seeing as it was highly different in his old school. Kusuo says he does not know either, Aren should just go meet her and see if he wants to date her or not. Aren starts thinking far ahead, already calling the girl with his last name. Kusuo says he is way too serious, Aren says if he is going to date someone he will marry them. He then asks Kusuo which Kanji is used to write Kumiko, Kusuo references his grandma's name, Kumi, as to how to spell it. Aren hopes it is not many strokes, seeing as he would get a tattoo of her name. Aren goes on stating that he knows she is the one due to her handwriting is cute, he then plans to quit school, marry her and provide for her. He then starts to think of baby names, his son being Akua and his daughter, Marin.
Aren sees the time, says he will be leaving and asks Kusuo to keep it a secret. He thanks him for listening to him before finally walking away. Kusuo says he thought he was more reasonable and it was a waste of his time. He then states he will go spy on him.
Aren is at the park mentioned in the letter, ready to meet the girl. He senses someone behind him, only to see nothing. Kusuo says it is not his imagination, he is using invisibility and glad that he did. Aren then finds out the letter was a trick by a group of guys. The guys laugh at him, Aren sighs. Aren then punches one of the guys and says he knew it was fake and that everyone is dead. Kusuo is surprised at his power. After the incident, no one picked a fight with Aren, however he is now the one who picks the fights.
In an omake page, it is Reita Toritsuka who has several names of girls on his face.
