In the Saiki household, Kurumi and Kuniharu yell Merry Christmas to Kusuo but he is not there. Kurumi believes he left to go hang out with Riki and the others, both parents tear up happily at the thought. Kusuo, at the park, was using clairvoyance and started asking who is visiting friends. Kusuo is trying to avoid everyone on Christmas as the last two Christmases have been disasters and went to the only place that would be empty at this time. He believes no one will come and he will finally be alone on Christmas for once.

At that same time a couple come by, wanting to go to the park but see Kusuo alone. Not wanting to bother him they leave, only for Takahashi to bump into them and make his cake delivery fall. He tells his boss that a cake fell, and now has to pay 1,300 yen out of pocket. Riki recognized his voice and buys the ruined cake from him with 1,302 yen, leaving Takahashi 2 yen. Riki wonders what he would do with the cake, finally deciding to get Shun and go to Kusuo's house. Kusuo shudders, having a bad feeling about something. Using clairvoyance, he checks his house, the area near the park he is in and sees Shun. Shun feels an ominous wind and is thinking of going to the park. Kusuo makes an ominous wind making Shun go towards the direct it came from. Shun leaves and Kusuo is relieved.

Shun is walking, does not feel the wind anymore, and decides to go home. Riki sees him and says he was looking for him. Shun asks him why. Riki tells him he has cake and went to Shun's house to ask him if he would want to go to Kusuo's house but since he was not there he was about to head home. Shun thinks about it and agrees to go to Kusuo's house. Kusuo shudders once more. He gets a bit nervous, he does not understand why he feels like this. Ironically, he questions himself if something is developing or if he made a mistake without realizing it. In denial, he does not believe it and kicks a rock near a pigeon.

Shun and Riki run into Kokomi and tell her their plans to go visit Kusuo. She wants to go with them but she is with her brother. Suddenly the pigeon that Kusuo scared attacks Makoto, taking away his disguise, making everyone around the area mob him. Kokomi, relieved, agrees to go with Riki and Shun. Kusuo shudders once more. He felt this was the best choice but feels like it was his worst mistake. He feels like going home. Then he sees Makoto running towards the park, thinking he was his uneasiness, he decides to teleport home. He walks to his room to find Kokomi, Riki and Shun sitting there, they were waiting for him to arrive back home. Kusuo looks annoyed and finds out the story of what happened. He decides to join them to eat cake, saying Merry Christmas.
