Short Summary[]

The 3rd years in PK Academy are graduating. Kusuo is not interested but sees his peers reminiscing the times of their older classmates.

Long Summary[]

It is the third year graduation ceremony at PK Academy and Kusuo is less than thrilled to be attending. Since he is only a second year, he is not graduating, and he does not know anyone who is graduating. Riki, Shun, Kineshi and Chiyo all seem to be torn up about the graduating seniors.

All of the graduates seem a little off. Morikawa Minoru is described as being a shut in who never attended class once, Ninomiya Kaneko is an idol who barely attended due to work, and Makishima Seika apparently orchestrated the "Abominable Kujiratani Incident" the year before and skipped town. The students in Year 3 class 1 all have extremely distinct designs, though Kusuo has never seen them before, and 32 of their family names start with the letter A along with one named Watanabe. Year 3 class 2, on the other hand, seems to consist entirely of stock background characters. As they answer role, their responses get lazier and lazier. One of the students, Takizawa Kazushi, turns out to have been Kineshi's extremely lazy senpai from the tennis club who only ever quoted Slam Dunk at him. Also in class 2 is Akanishi Shinichi, who was Chiyo's first boyfriend. She stalked him relentlessly and they only went out for a month but he constantly begged her for money during that time.

Shun gives the farewell speech as student representative. He calls out one of the graduates, Mineo Nobuaki—or, as Shun calls him, Alphonse Calcifer Raiden—the source of his crazy personality. After Shun's speech, a dramatically different Tsuyoshi gives a speech, and they all sing the school's anthem song, which Kusuo never knew existed. Afterwards, even though it is a new year, Kusuo and his classmates are still in year 2.
