Long Summary[]

At lunch time, Imu arrives at year 2 class 3 to tell Kokomi that they should eat together. Kokomi agrees and the two walk together to presumably the cafeteria. Most students comment positively on the two, albeit some comment that Kokomi is still the prettiest of the two. At a corner, Kusuo comments on how they both used to have a rivalry but now they are practically friends. He continues to explain that Imu knows that Kokomi has feelings for him and that she has said that she will help her. He is annoyed by this aspect since Imu stands out and this was the worst scenario to happen for him.

Imu starts to think about how she knows about Kokomi’s feelings for Kusuo, however she is very displeased by this. She wants Kokomi happy, however she sees Kusuo as a disgusting playboy that approached herself and might be deceiving Kokomi too. She then asks Kokomi if she is busy after school. Kokomi questions it and says she is. Imu asks her if they should have a mixer, Kokomi is surprised and Kusuo, in rejoice, believes Imu is the best support.

After school, at a karaoke place, Imu tries to convince Kokomi to not leave. Kokomi appears reluctant to be at the mixer and reminds Imu of her feelings. Imu tells her she knows but tells her she should look at other people outside of school and she invited handsome guys. Seemingly conflicted to continue, she is then told by Chiyo if she does not want to be there she should probably go. Imu is confused on who Chiyo is. Kokomi informs her that she told Chiyo about the mixer and she wanted to join them. Chiyo then states they should plan things before the boys arrive, Kokomi questions her about Shun and Imu says her and Chiyo will probably get along well.

An employee enters the room next to them to give someone a chocolate parfait. He closes the door, thinks on how they look weird for being alone and ordering a parfait. It turns out it is Kusuo, who does not care on the guys’ comment. He continues by saying he did not come here to sing but to celebrate. He is not so sure Kokomi would lose interest in him so he is there to help. He can easily hear and see them and like always hear their thoughts too. Chiyo tells Kokomi to stay and do the mixer with them. Kokomi reluctantly appears to agree with the girls but her thoughts state that it was all an act and she is interested. The guys past by Kusuo’s room and he hopes they do well.

Chiyo tells the other girls to pretend she never has had a boyfriend, the door behind her opens, and she quickly turns. The 3 guys apologize for being late. Chiyo is surprised, thinks they are all handsome, and says they did not wait for long. Imu states they actually are late and Kokomi thinks they look decent and greets them. The guys settle in the room. Chiyo is excited since they look great and come from an elite high school. The guys all cluster across Kokomi and Chiyo is less enthusiastic. Imu settles everyone down and tells all of them to introduce themselves. The guys talk among themselves and wonder who should start. Amagi Byakuya, a model starts first, then Saionji Kanemitsu (also a model and comes from a wealthy family), and finally Kongouchi Mitsuru (another model, wealthy and speaks very little English.) They together say they are glad to meet them. Imu states it now their turn, explains everyone here knows her so she tells Chiyo to introduce herself. She talks about herself but the guys do not seem the least bit interested. It is now Kokomi’s turn, they are immediately interested, and Chiyo thinks she wants to go home.

Imu pats Chiyo’s shoulder, slams the menu in front of the guys. Imu yells at them that they are all out and explains she saw their rude attitude. Chiyo is touched at what Imu is doing. Imu continues that she will not let any guy get near Kokomi who treats people differently based on their beautiful or ugly appearance. Chiyo thinks about wanting to die. Imu says they are leaving and drags the girls to door. The guys explain they were listening to Chiyo, state things from her introduction and apologize if it seem they did not look like they were interested. Imu states it is too late, however Chiyo is immediately back in her seat and say they should continue. The guys whisper between each other, glad they did not leave and wonder how they remember the introduction.

Kusuo explains he was singing some songs and was frightened when they nearly cancelled the mixer in that time.He also states that they definitely were not paying attention and he told them what she said via telepathy. He is here to support them and it would be a problem if the girls left this early. He then decides to help them out. He tells them about how Kokomi felt cold so they should turn on the heater, picking her favorite song and doing funny jokes. Kokomi is surprised at how fun this mixer is. Kusuo smirks, believing it is easy to change someone’s mind. Kokomi, however, starts to think about Kusuo. She thinks it would be better if he were there with them, even though he will still be the same old straight face demeanor Kusuo is surprised and speechless for a moment. He removes the hat he has on and sighs. He says Kokomi is not quite correct since he was slightly smiling.

A while later the guys decide to go to the bathroom together and exit the room. The guys are smiling and wonder if things would go great with them and Kokomi. They try to figure out which guy will get her and decide to fight by playing rock, paper, scissors. They all play scissors and there is an extra hand that plays rock. They question who are they. Kusuo says none of them are taking Kokomi home and he will take them home, all the while they are unconscious and dragging them in the floor. One of the girls question where the guys are since they have taken too long.
