Long Summary[]

It is a Sunday morning, Kusuo opens the door to find Touma suddenly visiting him. Kusuo asks him what is his business with him. Touma, being himself, rambles and does not answer his question. Kusuo starts to close the door on him, however Touma jams his foot to the door. Unfortunately for Touma, Kusuo proceeds to close the door. He asks Kusuo to open the door so he can let go, he does and finally closes the door. Kurumi asks him who was at the door, currently making noise, and tells him it better not be one of his friends. Kusuo, nervously, asks her to make them 2 cups of coffee.

Kusuo lets Touma in. Kurumi excuses her son's behavior. Touma is happy to see her again. She asks him if they have met before, he says they have when both he and Kusuo were in elementary school. She proceeds to try to figure out who he is, until Touma mentions he wet himself. She ultimately remembers him, saying how much he has grown. She proceeds to state how Kusuo is, having not many friends, and nearly spills about his physic powers. Touma tells her not to worry about it, he knows about his secret and they are friends that can be open with each other. Kurumi starts to cry happy tears and leave them alone.

Touma tells Kusuo how honest and pure his mom is and can see where he got part of his character from. Kusuo tells him to stop analyzing and asks him why is he here again. Touma is surprised he does not know, Kusuo proceeds to say he truly does not. Touma tells him while he has telepathy, he can not see other's true intentions. Kusuo is confused. Touma proceeds to tell him the reason he can not see it is pretty obvious and that he has no business with him, he just wanted to come by. Kusuo is still confused. Touma asks him is it necessary to have a reason to visit a friend on a day off, Kusuo tells him no. Touma then says they should have fun and wonders what they can do. Kusuo tells him he never wanted to have fun and Touma excuses himself, saying he should go home. Kusuo stops him once he says he will also say goodbye to Kurumi, knowing well Kusuo's relationship is with his own mother.

The two proceed to watch television. Touma thinks about watching next week's episode, how Kusuo spends days off watching tv alone, wonders if there is any cake. Kusuo tells him he will not give him cake, Touma speaks his mind saying he is bored and wants cake. Touma then states it is not a big deal to say his thoughts since Kusuo has his telepathy and that what is currently on now is horse racing, which is boring. Kusuo tells him to go home then. Touma realizes what they can do, they should predict which horse could win. Kusuo asks him why would he do something like that. Touma tells him if he wins he will go home, however if he wins he can have a piece of the cake in the fridge. Kusuo asks him how does he know there was cake in the fridge. Touma tells him he figured it out by his reaction. Kusuo agrees to play his game.

Touma asks Kusuo which number he chooses, Kusuo answers number 2. He asks him why and Kusuo states he used clairvoyance to figure it out. Touma decides number 8, Kusuo is surprised at him apparently choosing a weak horse. Kusuo says he has no way of winning and they proceed to watch. Touma turns out correct, number 8 wins 1st place and Kusuo is highly surprised. Touma asks Kusuo will he do what he promised. Kusuo leaves and gets the cake. Kusuo returns and gives him a very small piece of the cake. Touma talks about it, Kusuo tells him he said he wanted some however he was not going to give all of it to him. Touma somewhat starts provoking him, by telling him he is childish. Kusuo scoffs, stating he is childish. He gets into Touma's trap by he stating since the next race is about to start, whoever picks the next winner gets the whole cake. Touma accepts.

Kusuo tells him he can chose first, Touma decides number 5. Touma asks him if he has chosen one, he says he is going to pick. Kusuo starts to use his clairvoyance again, putting his hands on his eyes while doing so. He decides to see how the horses feel, only to find out Touma's horse is the only horse that feels great. Kusuo goes with an opinion and goes with number 9. They watch the race, only for Touma to win again. Kusuo gives him the cake, annoyed, and asks him to leave after he is done. Touma tells him while he is a physic, he has an edge when it comes to horse racing.

Touma proceeds to tell Kusuo there is other things he can challenge him with. Kusuo asks him what he meant by that. Touma tells him he can be his playmate and asks if he can come visit again. Kusuo, seemingly looking happy, tells him to not come again. Touma, understanding him, tells him he will come visit him again.
