Long Summary[]

Kusuo contemplates his lack of friends, however at the time two people wanted to be his friends. Riki wanted to eat ramen with Kusuo while Shun wanted Kusuo to help him find "the ominous wind". Kusuo however had no plan on joining either of them. Suddenly, they saw a crying child on the road. Riki thought that he should go and ask her what's wrong, but Kusuo stopped him. Shun went to ask her instead, and she told him about how her dog named 'Wind' had ran off after she tied it to an electric pole. As Riki offered her a helping hand, she cried and almost removed the pin on her safety alarm. Riki then told her that he and Kusuo would find it for her and started running, while Kusuo did not move an inch. Shun stated that Riki was an idiot for not asking what the dog looked like. He then asked the girl what it looked like and started making a sketch of it. Shun went out to look for the dog, but Kusuo stood there. He was thinking about how there was no way the two would be able to find the dog so he might as well just go home, but suddenly the girl called out to him, asking if he would help find her dog too. Kusuo thought of the trouble the two idiots had entangled him into, but still decided to help the girl. He then hid in a toilet stall and used Thoughtography in an attempt to print the lost dog onto a page. Kusuo made constant errors in his search for the lost dog to the point that he thought of giving up, but then something caught his attention. Going back to the little girl, she smiled as she sees Kusuo carrying the dog that she lost. Riki and Shun start appearing too with Shun claiming how the "Dark Reunion" interrupted his search while Riki was wondering who's dog it was that he had found when the dog's owner started beating him up. The little girl told Kusuo that he should help his friend and he questioned the word "friend". The girl explains that being friends was like how she and her dog were friends when suddenly, Riki intrudes with a bloody and beaten face saying that he and Kusuo are also friends and pals, scaring the girl, who sounded her safety alarm.
