Long Summary[]

It was summer, the season of love in Kusuo's class. Everyone was talking about love, from couples to even Riki and Shun (who were actually talking about manga). Kusuo however is not in the mood for love as he does not find love appealing due to his psychic powers. He is revealed to be having trouble with a girl named Yumehara Chiyo. She sees Kusuo in different ways and thinks of him all the time. Just when she looked at him, Kusuo used his powers to make himself look weird, shocking her. Although it could have worked in getting her to give up on him, Kusuo thought that he could not do that anymore, as he would stand out as a weirdo. At the same time, Chiyo decides that she'll make Kusuo fall for her. She started making plans, starting in the hallway by trying to make Kusuo bump into her, then to using her handkerchief, hoping that when it falls Kusuo would give it back to her, and many more plans. However, each failed miserably, much to Chiyo's misery. When school was over, Yumehara suddenly had another idea. Since it was raining and she didn't have an umbrella with her, she thought she could try to share an umbrella with Kusuo, believing that Kusuo was the type to have one with him. Kusuo however is not the type to go along with her antics and used Weather Manipulation to stop the rain. Chiyo was dumbfounded at the sudden stop of the rain and started crying. She said goodbye to Kusuo, thinking that maybe they are not fated to be together, while Kusuo silently bid her farewell and hoped that she could find a better boy. Suddenly, Takeru held out his umbrella to Chiyo, saying that he will lend her his umbrella in which she answered that it is not raining anymore. He then says that her tears are still flowing, and that he would be the umbrella for her heart, making her fall for him at once.
