Long Summary[]

Kusuo’s Class was playing dodgeball in PE class. Everyone in his class complained except for Hairo Kineshi, the hot-blooded class representative of Class 2-3, who motivates everyone to give their best shot. After being grouped with Hairo after a game of Rock, Paper and Scissors, Kusuo struggled to keep up with his group mates who were far more into the game than he was. When it was the opposing team's turn to throw the ball, Kusuo was targeted and he didn't try to catch the ball, thinking that it was better for him to be out of the game early. However, an unexpected rule in dodgeball tells that being in hit in the face won't get the person disqualified from the game, so Kusuo now had to throw the ball. Hairo tried to motivate him into throwing it with all his strength, but Kusuo silently retorts that dodgeball would instead turn into a real Anpa-man if he did so. After throwing the ball weakly at Riki, Hairo got angry at Kusuo for not taking things seriously and Riki on the other hand was feeling happy, misunderstanding and thinking that Kusuo did so because they were friends. At Riki's turn, the Paper group suffered a loss of six members at once and only Kusuo and Hairo were left. When the ball was about to hit Hairo, Kusuo took his chance to be hit since he did not want to be the last member left, thinking that it would be bad if his secret was accidentally exposed. However, Hairo tried to save the ball in an attempt to save Kusuo and instead skinned his knee and was injured. Thus, Kusuo was given the ball and is now the only member left in the Paper Group.
