Summary
A new student transfers to Kusuo's class. His name is Koboyasu Aren. When introducing himself, he accidently wrote words on the board typical to what a delinquent would write. His new classmates noticed the words and Aren panicks, quickly erasing them and apologizing, claiming that it was an old habit of his. The class laughed it off and thought Aren was quite interesting. Kusuo, however, had already realized that Aren was more than just interesting. It turns out that Aren used to be an agressive delinquent, and had transferred to PK Academy in an attempt to end his delinquent life and start anew. Under the watchful eye of Kusuo (who was secretly following him to make sure he did not cause trouble), he was struggling to restrain himself and nearly hit a student for staring at him, nearly threw a fire extinguisher at Takahashi after the latter accidentaly bumped into him, and almost started a fight with Riki as the latter boasts that he was a delinquent before. Annoyed, Aren shook him off and continued on his way. He sees Tsuyoshi extorting money from a student. Aren initially ignored them and walked on. However, he suddenly turned around, picking up a gym locker and asking Tsuyoshi if he could make minced meat out of the latter. He easily defeats Tsuyoshi and threatens the student that Tsuyoshi was bullying, telling him to not tell anyone what he just saw. Even though he did cause trouble, Kusuo decides to overlook it as he was doing so to help the bullied student.
