Hot-Blooded! Dodgeball! (Part 2) is the seventh chapter of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan) manga series published on the 25th of June 2012.

Short Summary

The continuation of the class playing dodgeball.

Long Summary

With only Kusuo left, Kusuo is now the Paper Team’s last hope to win. However, Kusuo is more concerned with figuring out how to keep his likability neutral so that he does not attract attention. Using his "likability ranking meter", which read the minds of everyone in the vicinity using telepathy and calculates how they feel toward the user and convert it into numeral value, Kusuo notices that his current likability is 41. Depending on the outcome of his actions, he would either be marked as an idiot who ruined the game or he would be the center of the attention, pursued by clubs and female students. To get the result he wanted (which is 50), he would have to hit at least one person but when he threw the ball it looked weak and his likability score went down from 41 to 20. Kusuo then had a hard time keeping his likability neutral as it instead keep increasing until Riki's throw hit him on the chest, making him think that he was finally out but to Kusuo's annoyance, he was still in the game as Hairo went back into the game and had caught the ball in the nick of time. Hairo was proud of Kusuo but the latter did not care about Hairo's likability for him, which was a score of 100. After Hairo went back into the game, he started taking out some more opponents until it was Riki's turn, in which Kusuo had to help Hairo because the latter's knee was bleeding. Feeling guilty of being the cause of Hairo's injury, he used his powers to give him strength, as well as removing the pain of his injury causing them to win the game. Kusuo, whose final score was 82, was being praised by everyone until Riki came and gave him a hug, quickly decreased his likability to 46.
