Short Summary[]
Receiving money in the new year from his parents, Kusuo goes to buy a new TV. After dealing with a salesman, he ends up getting a coffee jelly maker instead.
Long Summary[]
Kusuo received otoshidama[1] money from his parents and decides to buy a TV.
He chose one he liked and asked for a huge discount. However, the salesman Nakamaru, unsatisfied with how much money he lost, kept pestering Kusuo to buy more things. Kusuo rejected all of them, but managed to get influenced into buying an expensive coffee jelly maker instead of the TV, as Nakamaru took advantage of Kusuo's weakness for coffee jelly.
