Kiyoi Mera (目良 浄, めら きよし lit. Mera Kiyoi) is Mera Chisato's father who went missing.
History[]
2 years ago, Kiyoi was running a successful trading company but due to a large debt, the company suffered bankruptcy and he had to set out, working abroad to pay the debt collectors. However, he wasn't able to cope with the exhaustion on both body and mind so he went back to Japan without meeting his family because he is still being chased by the debtors and was planning to commit suicide and use his insurance to pay the debts. With the help of Kusuo and Mikoto, the debt collectors stopped coming for him and he was able to meet his family.

- Mera Kiyoi's name uses two of the kanji from Joutengan/Clairvoyance 浄天眼 (the 眼 being the 目 and 良 from Mera 目良 squished together)
