Characters Appeared[]

Restarting Saiki Kusuo (Part 1)[]

The day after the events of Special Episode 2, several ask Kusuo why he did not show up after asking all of them to do so. Kokomi asks him if he has chosen which country he will research for their geography class project, he carefully tries to decide a country that will not end up with him pairing up with her.

Restarting Saiki Kusuo (Part 2)[]

In the library, Kusuo and Kokomi work on their project about Canada. Kusuo gets harassed by two guys, whom are jealous of him being paired up with Kokomi. Said guys make bookcases next to Kusuo fall towards his direction.

Kusuo is saved by Riki from the incident. In the evening, Kusuo arrives home and confronts Kusuke about how his psychic abilities might be returning. Kusuke tells him to relax, as it might be the stress, Kusuo takes his advice.

Manga and Anime Differences[]

The episode fully adapts the final chapters of the manga series, however there were a few anime original scenes.

Restarting Saiki Kusuo (Part 2)[]

  • Kokomi overhearing Chiyo asking Shun out to finish up their project about France.

Restarting Saiki Kusuo (Part 4)[]

  • Kokomi asking Kusuo if he is okay after the library incident and he replies to her that he is fine.
  • Chiyo talking to Kokomi about working on her geography project with Shun.

Restarting Saiki Kusuo (Part 5)[]

  • Before the news of the meteor striking, Makoto was shown seemingly advertising his show.
  • Shown in the manga was Kusuo and thought bubbles of everyone's thoughts, in the anime the characters are shown.
    • Riki, Shun and Aren receiving extra dialogue.
    • Metori, trying to get everyone to safety with him, and Imu, asking help from her fan club, was not present in the manga.

Trivia[]

  • The title cards are highly unique in this episode compared to the other 5 episodes in Reawakened.
    • The 1st title card references the colored image for Epilogue Chapter 1. The background is the colors of Volume 1.
    • Title cards 2-4 are of Kusuo and Kokomi in chibi format, with the 4th title card being animated.
    • The final title card references Volume 26; referencing Kusuo's image in the cover of the volume and the colors used for the background.
  • While the sequence where the other characters are shown and Kusuo hears their thoughts is anime original, Asou-sensei revealed months after the release on his Twitter that he was the one who made it for the anime.[4]
    • In the same post, it was revealed that the anime production was considering to have an anime original scene with the character Asou voices due to them not having enough manga material. Asou wanted to avoid that situation, thus the creation of said sequence.
