Kumi Saiki (斉木 久美, さいき くみ lit. Saiki Kumi) is the wife of Saiki Kumagoro, Saiki Kurumi's mother, the mother-in-law of Saiki Kuniharu, and grandmother of Saiki Kusuo and Saiki Kusuke.

Kumi is a woman who is in her 60s. Despite her old age, Kumi keeps the style of a modern teenage Japanese girl, wearing sexy clothes for her style and a skirt shorter than her knees.
Personality[]
In contrast to her husband, Kumi is more extroverted and cheerful. She is also lackadaisical with a habit of wearing teenager's clothes.
Background[]
The Saiki family decided to go to the countryside so as to visit Kurumi's parents. When they arrived, Kumi greets them warmly, and all of them have a great time together, despite some problems occurred. On the last day, when the family is about to head to the train station, several big rocks fell from the cliff and blocked their way. When Kusuo's about to solve the problem as usual, Kumi asks her daughter what she has been hiding over the past days, because Kurumi had a habit of hiding her thumbs when she's lying. After Kurumi revealed the truth that their grandson had superpowers, Kumi and her husband were deeply shocked, but later learned to accept it.

- Kumi and Kumagoro's Japanese voice actors, Rie Tanaka and Koichi Yamadera respectively, were actually married at the time of their debut episode's production, but the two divorced in 2018.
