Touma: So this is the first page of Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan volume 21... I suppose you could call this the title page. The fact that you're reading this must mean that you have in your hands a copy of this book, correct? Thank you very much for your support. Then again, just because you have a copy of the book on hand, doesn't necessarily mean that you purchased it however, statistically speaking I believe those of you who have purchased the book outnumber those who have not. My reasoning is that those reading this at a bookstore or a manga cafe wouldn't want to waste their time reading the words of someone like me who only appears in one panel of volume 21. Yes, I do believe that the only ones who would take the time to read this book cover to cover would be the ones who spent money on it... Yes? What is that you say? "Hey hold on"? "Aren't you forgetting those who borrowed the book from someone, or rented it out"? "Someone do something about this third rate detective"?... Is that what you're thinking? I see... Certainly, it is highly probable.. You've got me there but truthfully that doesn't affect my argument. The point I was trying to make is...Regardless of whether or not they bought the book, the only ones who would read every inch of this book would have to be a very devoted fan. It doesn't matter if the person reading this in a bookstore or at a manga cafe. I simply want to take this opportunity to express a special thanks to those of you who take the time to read these long and unnecessary text segments. Now then, it's about time we get to the main story... Oh, but those of you reading this at a bookstore should hurry up and either buy the book or put it back on the shelf. Now, let us proceed.

Summary

Kusuo has inadvertently turned Riki and Shun into stone. The petrification will end after 24 hours. The way Kusuo manages to cheat himself around it was a replacement strategy using his hypnotic ability. However, Reita and Mikoto, who were appointed as their replacements, began to have their own problems...!?
